A Summer of Glass Fusing Workshops

For the very first time, we hosted a series of fun Glass Fusing workshops in the months of June, July, and August!

Right from the start of opening our glass business in Bonaire, our mission was to foster a community related to Glass Art. And what better way to get people excited about glass art than to let them create something themselves? Our mission led us to organize three workshops, each with its own theme. Joel, Josie, and Jessica, artists at MoltenWolf Glass, were present to guide participants through the process of glass fusing.

Joel’s Fish Wall Art Workshop

Joel kicked off the workshop season with not one but two Fish Wall Art workshops in June. Eight enthusiast participants gathered at the MoltenWolf Glass shop, where they got immersed in the world of glass cutting, shaping, and layering glass. Everybody was very pleased with their final designs – and so were we!

Josie’s Ornament Workshop

In July, Josie took the reins and led the Ornament Workshop. As the MoltenWolf Glass shop once again transformed into a workshop space, participants embarked on crafting gorgeous glass ornaments. Everyone used their personal expression in every ornament they made, and the results were stunning.

Jessica’s Olive Oil Bottles Workshop:

August brought forth Jessica’s Olive Oil Bottles workshop, where creativity met functionality. Participants were thrilled to design their own custom olive oil bottles – some took the abstract approach while others created designs with animals. Each person made their own set of 2 glass bottles and it was such a joy seeing how they all turned out!

A Big Success & More To Come!

The workshops were a big hit, with all courses fully booked – we even scheduled an extra date for the Fish Wall Art! Many participants had never tried glass fusing before, yet the workshops’ beginner-friendly approach made it accessible and rewarding for everyone involved.
